3. Maintenance of the print head
The print head* is easy to block the nozzles due to too long printing time, improper use of ink, or long-term storage. Of course, the use of poor quality ink cartridges will also cause clogging of the nozzle holes and affect the print quality, and even cause the entire print head to be scrapped. However, in the application of large-format color inkjet printers, due to the generally long printing time, no one will avoid nozzle clogging. However, when we encounter such incidents, we must deal with them very early. Loss is large, resulting in undue losses. Although the manufacturing process of the print head is fine, its structure is not complicated. There are many tiny round holes on the plane that is in direct contact with the printing medium. The nozzle holes are connected to the nozzles inserted into the ink cartridges. From the nozzle to the nozzle holes and around the nozzle holes, toner or toner with strong adhesion due to drying is often retained. Impurities, as long as the toner and impurities are removed, the print head can resume normal printing functions.
Most of the print heads that appear to have been scrapped are only temporarily blocked and unable to work. To restore their printing function, in fact, only a simple flushing method can be used. For normal printing, but lack of strokes or colors, or blurry images at high resolution, such slight blockages can generally be solved by the nozzle cleaning program that comes with the printer. This is also a method that workers need to use frequently and is worth noting On the one hand, if you find that the nozzles are slightly clogged such as lack of strokes or poor colors, you should use the cleaning program to clean them as soon as possible. This is the simplest and best maintenance method.
During the printing process, the machine frequently fills ink or cleans the nozzle holes, but the printing effect is still poor or the print head nozzle is severely clogged, the machine cannot fill ink, or the printer refuses to work, so manual cleaning can only be used. Although the manual cleaning method is not complicated, because the nozzle needs to be disassembled, the cleaning frequency should not be too many or too complicated. The manual cleaning method is to use a syringe and a piece of rubber tube that can be placed on the needle, cleaning fluid (such as bottled purified water), a magnifying glass of about ten times, a hard plastic knife and other tools. After removing the printer cart and carefully finding the blocked nozzle with a magnifying glass, cover the blocked nozzle with a rubber tube, and then use a syringe to inject the cleaning solution into the nozzle.
