It’s made up of cotton canvas, poly-cotton and polyester canvas, which can be for both water based ink and Eco-solvent ink printing. The special formulated coating surface combined with an ultra smooth ink-jet coating not only prevents canvas cockle or coating layer broken during stretch, but can also make the printed images more vivid.

1.Solvent printing canvas (Textile) is an economically product with matt finished surface. It is for indoor and outdoor advertising usage.
2. Direct sublimation printing textile are available with both glossy and matte finish, the substrate is more soft.

What is the principle of canvas and textiles supporting water-based ink printing and weak solvent ink printing?

HANKER's cotton canvas products are mainly made of cotton canvas, polyester cotton and polyester canvas. These materials have good mechanical strength and wear resistance and are ideal for printing substrates. In particular, polyester canvas is more suitable for long-term outdoor display due to its excellent chemical stability and anti-aging properties.
In order to achieve good adhesion and printing effects of water-based inks and weak solvent inks, HANKER adopts a specially formulated coating treatment technology. This coating not only has excellent wettability and permeability, which can ensure that the ink is evenly distributed on the canvas surface, but also enhances the adhesion between the ink and the canvas through a specific chemical structure, effectively preventing the ink from falling off or migrating during the printing process.
Adaptability to water-based inks: Water-based inks use water as a solvent, requiring the coating to be hydrophilic while maintaining a certain ink absorption to control the diffusion rate of the ink and ensure image clarity and color saturation.
Adaptability to weak solvent inks: Weak solvent inks contain a lower proportion of organic solvents, and have certain requirements for the solvent resistance of the coating. HANKER's coating technology enhances the solvent resistance of the coating by adjusting the polymer composition and cross-linking degree, so that weak solvent ink can be firmly attached to the canvas surface without destroying the coating structure.
To further enhance the printing effect, HANKER's cotton canvas products are also combined with ultra-smooth inkjet coatings. This coating not only improves the flatness of the surface, reduces light scattering, makes the printed image more vivid and detailed, but also reduces the friction between the ink and the nozzle during the printing process through its unique lubricity, extending the service life of the print head. More importantly, the ultra-smooth coating works synergistically with the specially formulated base coating to effectively prevent the canvas from wrinkling or coating rupture during stretching, ensuring the overall quality and stability of the printed product.
